Back to the film days

Couple of days ago we received the processed film images from our photoshoot inĀ downtown Auburn. While shooting, numerous times after taking the shot I would look at the back of the camera and, SURPRISE, I would keep seeing the plastic back of the Mamiya RB67 or the trusty Nikon N90s only! No digital preview, no idea whether I got the shot or not. And yet, the excitement was ten times bigger than looking into the pixel-rich display of my D300s and seeing the perfect frame. For this one, we used couple of flashes through a white umbrella, Mamiya RB67 with 90mm f/3.5 and 120 Kodak Portra 400. The film was processed by Indie Film Lab, which is based in Montgomery, AL.
